Hennessey Twin Turbo Ford GT Sets New Texas Mile Record
246.8 mph is the new record for the Texas Mile (for cars running on the Chase Field runway in Beeville). Congrats to owner Mark Heidaker and driver Sean Kennedy. I think that the car has a bit more in it. We will see.

Always boggles my mind that the owner and the driver are two different people with these high speed runs and cars. Are the owners not skilled enough or not stupid enough? LOL
Regardless -- amazing car and speed. Ford GT's are one of the coolest cars out.
