Engines with less V.E. tend to benefit from power adders better than those with better V.E. Viper heads move what, 210 cfm stock, maybe an old spec but that is worse than a 4.6 mustang and that is a terrible engine. I am only looking at it from an airflow point of view. They are all air pumps, some just move more air .

4.6L Ford has several head designs. If your talking 2v they are kind of weak. But the 3V and 4V aren't to bad.
