What are low mileage cars going for these days?

180-190k which is 5-15k over sticker. I'm not convinced a car with 36mi can bring significantly more than a 2500mi car. Factor in the cost of having that money tied up for 6 years, I'm not sure it's been that good of a deal. Maybe in 20 years, but who knows.

Not to mention no one knows what kind of service they'll need from sitting. Hoses, corrosion, etc.

Definitely not a good investment. But cool for sure.

The smart move would be to wait 30+ years and sell them at barett Jackson.

Maybe he'd make enough from selling all 15 to buy one more as a driver. Kinda like having a Subway Club card but for Ford GTs.

Shelby @ Elite has an 06 Tungsten no stripe listed for $195k and change with 83mi still on the MSO... so after tax if this guy paid sticker which should be in the 175k range for all of the cars save for the heritages, I can't see him making money.
