Detroit 2012: March 7 Motorsports shows the Falcon F7
A new american exotic has born. The Falcon F7 is a "killer machine". With a carbon-fiber body, an aluminum/carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a billet suspension, an extreme power to weight ratio, and a impresive 7.0 liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 620 HP at 6600 rpm and 585 lb-ft of torque at 5400 rpm; the Falcon F7 is the responsible to represent America in the fight to be the best supercar.
The Falcon F7, which has been shown to the public in Detroit, will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3-3.6 seconds and will hit a top speed somewhere between 190 to 200 mph. The new Falcon F7 supercar will go on sale at a starting price of $195,000, with some versions heading up to $250,000. The expectations of March 7 Motorsports are to produce fifteen cars in the first year, twenty-five in the second year, and a hundred in each of the following years.

This car has potential to be really great. They seem to know what they are doing. I would take it over a 458 or MP4-12C. It has the looks and weighs 3-500lbs less, with 620 naturally aspirated horsepower. That is a win to me. Can't wait to see the final product tested.

However, as long as they don't fill the interior with plastics and actually design it nicely, this should be a hit. Build quality is definately in question until more details are out. We Americans kind of have a problem with that sort of thing. If we want this to play on the same level as the MP4-12c and 458, it'll need to be excellent quality.
EDIT: Looking at the galleries on their website, the interior actually looks fairly nice. I actually really love this car.

Coming from someone who likes teh Tuatara, i'll take that with a grain of salt.

Having said that, what you said about the Falcon F7 is true. With the stats it should be a great performer. But to be remotely successful, it NEEDS to have a quality build with good interior. Looking at the pictures, and speaking with the founder, they seem to have that covered.

Nothing. The Tuatara is a car that polarizes opinions about design. Nobody doubt that this well made. But you love it or hate it. Personally I love it.
