I doubt that. I bet it would handle much better with IRS. Why else do 98% of the worlds- class leading sports cars- have IRS?

It's b/c Ford needs to cut corners $$ wise and spend the money on other area's of the cars- b/c it's 'typical' buyer probably couldn't tell the difference between a live rear axle and IRS. Sadly.
