That is called a Gurney bubble. To fit in taller drivers with a helmet. From the 60s cars Dan Gurney drove. To my knowledge a VERY low number of the newer GT's were produced with it.

Pretty sure there's far more Butterfly doors than there are Gurney bubbles out there.

About a $5k installed after market option put onto the car by the GT Guys and a couple of others now too. Cool if you need the headroom and would rather get a Gurney bubble than a seat lowering cushion......

If I owned a car like that it would do some daily duty, so I would be tempted to go with butterfly doors for functionality if the reg doors became a pain.

To the best of my knowledge there isnt any factory issued Gurney bubbles. The butterfly doors are a good idea however depending on how much you intend to drive it (and I guess your situation in your garage or storage location) the price is a little bit limitting imho.
I have taken over half the garage at home so luckily I have room to open the doors; a neighbour up the street has a little less as he has more cars. He is considering them for his car.
The biggest problem is parking. You do really need to plan your parking ahead of time or run the risk of being blocked out by someone parking beside you.
