Haha. True. But just that while that maroon looks crazy, it's not a color I'd choose for my GT. And the tan interior makes it even worse. I'm not a fan of tan lol. I like the ghost idea though, that's nice. Now if it was gloss pearl black, with some gunmetal ghost stripes, that might work out lol.

I have to give some rep for the GTX-1 since not many are here.
I will start by saying I would take a coupe over the GTX-1 any day also. And I do too hate the rims.
Having said that, rims are easy to change, something I would probably do on a coupe anyways, so that is hardly an argument against the car. I would like to have both a regular GT and a GTX-1. When weather permits, what would be cooler than rolling around in a convertible GT by the beach? And think of how well you would be able to hear the exhaust! You get everything you love about the standard GT but you also get to feel the breeze and sun and hear that wonderful engine.

Let me also point out that I generally HATE convertible versions of coupes. F430 Spyder, Gallardo Spider, Pagani Zonda Roadster, etc. I can't stand them. But the GTX-1, apart from the rims, was done really well imo.

I agree completely Kevin. The rims remind me of a kaleidoscope.

I hate convertible anything. A sport car shouldn't be convertible/roadster. I mean, roadsters are OK, cause they aren't really convertible, more of a mix between coupe and convertible, but I'd take coupe over it any day.

Personally, I don't even like the look of roof of the GTX-1. Idk, just not feeling it. Sure you can change out the rims, and since I like it sticker less, take off the stickers, and since if I don't like the top, I'd leave the tops in all the time, etc. It's basically returning it to a stock GT lol. If I would get a GTX-1, it means I'm paying $40-50,000 more for something I want to return to stock.

As far as pulley, tune, exhaust, etc. I'm already planning that, and new rims, and lowering it, etc. if I were to get a GT. I think the stock GT is perfect the way it is, the GTX-1 would be nicer if it was a modded version of the stock GT similar to what C6 and Z06 is. Same body and what not, but lower, exhaust, more power, etc. But considering how much more it cost than a regular GT, you can do the same minus the roof for around half the price.

Here's the pictures.... This GT is one of THREE produced with the Gurney Bubble, also the only Heritage edition to feature it as well. For those who don't know, the Gurney Bubble was used on the original GT40's so racer Dan Gurney could fit in the car with his helmet on.
