HB, can you style us w/ some pics of the Monaro conversion? Not sure if posted already...

 

This is just the front end (still working on the sidemarkers and rest of the badging, not top priority right now)

Also, my Holden emblem is now currently painted black so it's not noticeable (I hate shiny things on cars)

 

Very nice! Subtle, but much better looking... I like the look of the GTO until I get to the pointy red badge on the nose and that part kinda ruins it for me. Holden has such a rich performance history - nice to seperate it from the pack.

Holden has a much cooler logo...

ya, I plan on ordering that sidemarker soon.......and eventually changing out the wheels and the rest of the "badging"

But i gotta spend some money on suspension first. About to pull the trigger on some KW V3's

 

I wish they went with Ram Air concept, it was badass!

 

you can actually do it. A guy I use to work with, worked with GM to make this into production vehicles....called the RA6

it just hasn't sold well due to the price

Thanks for the compliments guys. I already addressed some of the things on 6speed. The car will lose the rear spoiler in favor of a more subtle lip spoiler, and it will get the full Holden treatment...the Pontiac badges...on the bumper and trunk, the door sills and steering wheel cover...will be gone. The wheels I'm replacing the stock 18's with are the 18'' CV8Z's.

It will essentially look like this...only in blue!!!!

 

Oh, and Hot Rod...if you get the chance, would you mind posting a picture of the black badges...I'd like to see them. A member on ls2 actually purchased the black chrome badges from the CV8R and I'm contemplating going that route.

 

yea, I currently have only the lion on the front. The body shop was suppose to shave the rear holes for the rear emblem but didn't (I didn't fuss, they did a ton of other work for me for free). So I currently have the arrowhead still on the rear.......deciding what to do there.
