Agreed and understood. I do feel ALMS might be a little outnumbered considering the basis and lineage of this forum is Porsche related ...... Most are throwing jabs at the Vette and when ALMS defends the marquee everyone gets ruffled. Just smile and have a laugh.

 

There are just some people on these car forums that make it their "incessant duty" to blast certain cars and that is one thing that pisses me off. He pulled the same stuff on two other forums that I frequent. My mother told me if you have nothing nice to say, then keep your yap shut. Yes, he has a right to voice his opinion (irrespective of how many post he has) and by voicing his opion about this car in this section he deserves (and should expect) to get polarizing responses. Perhaps mine was a bit harsh to some.... but I don't think so.

Totally agree. This forum is full of Porsche owners who dislike the Corvette because it can kick the P cars ass in most cases for way less money. I have nothing against P cars, heck I owned a 911. But I don't go into the P car sections bitching about sh*t like they do in here. It is a car forum, we should all be happy we have performance cars, not act like a little baby about ones we do/don't like. This is the main reason I do not post much anymore and at least seven members I know of do not either. This used to be a great forum, not so much anymore. Yes, some of the P car guys are super cool, but lately there are way to many tools for my taste and some of them have been here awhile too, amazes me really. Huge post counts don't mean jack, if your just posting baby crap. I'd rather have a member with 100 meaningful posts then 6000 posts of BS baby sh*t.

 

Let's just hug it out everyone... Who the hell cares what people say about our cars? If we like them that is all that matters.... I myself LOVE BBW's, others not so much....

 

I used to think nothing in particular of Corvettes and Corvette owners, but thanks to ALMS21 and SINISTR, I can now say that 100% of Corvette owners are little whiny bitches.
