I know exactly what you're saying. However put yourself into my shoes.

Aside from a Motorcycle, you have the means to get ONE car. You can afford a BMW, MB/Audi annnd a GM product.

Trust me, you're NOT going to blow your nut on this car. Even if you were a client who could really only financially justify 3 cars max- I highly doubt this car would be your choice. Especially a client who owns and enjoys (enjoyed) many European cars.

For people like me; it isn't all about HOW big your engine is or how big your wheels are. It's how well it performs EVERYTHING I ask it to, and do it with predictable reliability and depreciation.

I know there are people who will love this car. I do not. But that's my opinion.

hey, if it's good enough for Avis or Enterprise rental cars, it's good enough.....right?

Not.

I think you are selling most americans short with this blanket statment. I've got one friend who could afford 10 supercars in his garage and he has 3 Shelby Mustangs and that's it. I don't like em but a lot Americans do not feel your way at all.
Would I choose it if it were 1 of 1 in my garage? That's a question I can't answer. I believe the only 1 of 1 car I own would be my GT3RS.

So what is your better than Avis performs exactly how you want car?

My Camaro is more car than 999,999 of 1 Million people could drive to it's limits. I know with my 5 years of racing I couldn't.

All for a 38k price tag

i love the new camaro, its a great car. I drove one for a few days while my truck was in the shop, and i was considering trading in and getting one. The back end of the convert is a lil large, but like h20 said it gives it a good stance... all im sad about is, h20 do you really not like lambo?

ive tried to like lambos. i am not a fan of the looks of any but a few Diablos and the Muira is growing on me. i can say ive logged a lot of miles and they are just tanks. murcis drive like my gmc crew cab and gallardos do nothing for me and their and they drive like they way 1000lbs more than they do. im all about cars that drive well. when they do. the cars also have to look good. to me they dont hence the reason i dont like the new 458 from the front it looks like a gallardo. sorry to dissapoint but they better drive fantastic for the cash you spend on em. like a super model (tho i think lambos are the porn stars of supercars) if she doesnt know how to fvck im not gonna keep her around for the looks!

Observation; H20.... is it possible that you're more GM guy and I'm more a Ford guy? If given the choice between the two makes ill take a Ford product.

Current cars in my family (all purchased by my parents)

Mom: 200X Ford Explorer
Dad: 200X Ford F-250
Older sister: 200X Ford Escape
Me: 2008 Infiniti G37S Coupe

Weird how that worked out. It's not like they're making the move to Japanese, I think my Dad wants to pick up a new SRT8 Challenger in a few months.
