Dustin - That would be AWESOME news. The new Avant looks so sharp. Now if only they'd beef up that RS5... Oh and check out my thread in the Audi section please!

saw your post. hope the info helps. I'm crossing my fingers on the S4 Avant. that could very well be my next car (that or the R20). I think the RS5 is beefy enough, but I think the color they decided to show it in was probably the worst they could have picked. I think that once we see some real world pics in Avus silver or Quartz grey I think the flares will be more prominent.

it's also not the car in question, or a car that will ever be sold here.*

(*yes, an MTM distributor wants to bring them over.)

the HVAC doesn’t work in any of the Porsche's, just extra weight..

***still speculation*** I cannot and will not reveal source.
I like most everything about my S4 Avant, other than the fact that it's hamster powered. It really could use the extra 70HP from the RS4.

If they had brought RS4 Avant over then I wouldn't even be thinking about anything else.

I also however, understand that not that many people want a manual wagon with real power in the U.S., so it is unlikely that the Germans will ever ship anything over.

And lastly, RS6 is slushie only, not interested.

I was never really impressed by the AC in any of my German cars, BMW's, P cars, Audi's. Not compare to your garden variety rental Impala even!

It's one of those things, Germans don't care about AC or cupholders, hence they continue to suck, even on cars like the 996 GT2 that had a sticker of 200K USD.
