The Modern Shelby Daytona for UK, Uber Cool 
"The new Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe Mk II has been revealed ahead of its official unveiling at tomorrow’s Autosport International show. The Mk II Coupe is a replacement for the outgoing Superformance Cobra Daytona, a modern recreation of one of Carol Shelby’s most iconic sports cars.
But the car will now carry the Shelby name for the first time. Each model will be allocated a CSX9000 chassis number and a Shelby-issued MSO certificate and chassis tag to boost its collectability. The cars are imported to the UK by Le Mans Coupes Ltd and Nigel Hulme from the firm said demand for the model had been strong.
“The market has demanded that the new model features upgrades and improvements that would make it worthy of the Shelby name,” he said.
The Mk II Coupe features a raft of changes over the outgoing Superformance model. A more comfortable driving position has been created by moving the steering wheel and A-pillars, and increasing the car’s height.
Ride quality has been improved by a reworked suspension system, while the chassis has also been stiffened. Its 18-inch alloys now feature the 'deep dish' look of the original car, a feature absent on the outgoing model.
A 450bhp version of GM’s 6.2-litre engine powers UK models, but a supercharged version is available to boost power to 650bhp. The car's 0-60mph time is as low as 3.5sec depending on the engine option, while a top speed of more than 200mph is achievable.
UK prices start at £87,000 plus VAT."
