Nevermind that the Charger is the same thing and has 4-doors and already comes in a police package...

If the top speed is only 165, and hypothetically, an offender was going at steady 170mph in any old German or Italian car, and that said offender knows to use the lead to his advantage, Motorola will only help if that said offender's plate was read by other enforcement vehicles prior to the engagement.

The more important thing is whether or not the officers will actually have the training to be able to handle the power this car produces. I don't know many cops that spend their weekends going to HPDEs for fun...

They may not do it for fun but they do it for the job. (And who says they don't have a little fun while there?)

Highway patrol maybe, but your average cop doesn't get squat for high performance driver training to be able to handle these cars near the limit. Just sayin'.

Very true. Highway patrols and large city's probably see the most training. I bet the Challenger doesn't handle all that different from the Crown Vic besides having a little more horsepower. All law enforcement vehicles are pigs.
