That sucks. He didn't even look like he was going that fast.... Oh well. A fool and his money are easily parted.

I doubt the owner even knew about the camera, but around a truck in to the light out of a tunnel and a huge line could happen to anyone. It does everyday in fact.

My opinion it would have been worse of it was any other car. Vipers of any gen stop pretty darn quick, faster then most anything else that is street legal at least.

The gen IV's in perticular have just drop dead amazing brakes.

This guy is no more an idiot than anyone else it happens to, but maybe because of the car he was unfortunate enough to be caught on camera.

I don't care how often it happens "never overdrive your line of sight." This accident could have been avoided.

unless you upgrade the rear brakes on a gen II they are very, very easy to lock up. Vipers of any gen are not for the faint of heart...there is a 30/30 rule in viper ownership...30 percent get wrecked in the first 30 days of ownership

Thats because income and driving skill do not increase in equal amounts.

Well, it definitely isn't a new Viper if this was shot recently.

As far as the driver is concerned. He was weaving, following too close behind a truck, riding in between lanes to see when he could pass (because he was too close), and then passed people on the right across 2 lanes without signaling.
If he couldn't see coming out of the tunnel because of the sun, why did he continue to accelerate?

This guy is an idiot and reaped what he sowed.
