Teaser Pics - New Wheels High Carbon Content - Thanks to Tunerworks Rob
Hey all,
we haven't set up a full photoshoot yet, that's coming, but here are some teaser shots of my new Magnalium center Dymags. A few comments first off, forum sponsor Rob at Tunerworks was AMAZING to deal with. He is always awesome, but still, it bears repeating, Rob is a class act!!! Second, the tolerances on this wheel are TIGHT!!! They're so much more accurately cut than the BBS's the car was originally sporting. And they're LIGHT!!! Those BBS wheels were light, these are even more so.
18x9 fronts and 19x12 rears. Car is lowered, tires are Bridgestone RE050A (265/40 front and 345/35 rear). The stock wheels (not pictured) are now sporting Hoosiers.
There's a few other mods on the car too. Boy do these Dymags ever suit this car.
One other comment, a buddy of mine photoshopped a new number and some tyre lettering (which doesn't quite work since the rears actually say "Bridgestone Scuderia Potenza" in equal 1/3rd around the tire). Based on his rendition, I've already ordered new numbers and I'm trying to source a lettering kit What do all y'all think?
