Saleen retail store re-opened as 'Concours Supercars'
#1
From autoblog:
Back in the summer of 2006, Saleen was flying high. They were just about to start production of the Parnelli Jones Mustang and had just launched an automotive retail store in Irvine, CA. Just three years, later things are much different. Saleen Inc. shut down the store more than a year ago, sold off most of its assets, and closed up shop back in February. We assumed the notion of a stand-alone automotive retail store in Southern California was dead.
Enter Concours Supercars. Co-run by the Concours Motorcar Company, which deals in buying, selling, and consigning investment grade cars, and Techco International, an aftermarket parts company, the new retail store fills the void left in the space vacated by Saleen. The 6000 square-foot store now features a wide range of apparel from manufacturers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Shelby, as well as performance parts for the American sports cars from Techco. Some of the items from Saleen remain, like the racing simulators featuring the Saleen S7, and we're told that a variety of cars will circulate through the displays in the store.
If you're in the Southern California area, you can check out the new store at the Irvine Spectrum shopping center (111 Fortune Drive, Suite 905) in Irvine.

I went by there yesterday after seeing a movie at the Spectrum.
They have some decent stuff. Mainly hats, shirts, sunglasses and some die cast cars.
Their product line covers Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, Aston Martin, Bugatti and Mustangs.
The place is still under construction. It is worth a pass by if you are local.
If you want Ferrari swag, however, hit the Ferrari Store in the Beverly Center, LA.

Now that sounds like fun! I wonder if they'd sell the sims. They'd be awesome in my buddy's garage...
