556-hp Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is done, but on hold until financial condition improves
#15
The real question will be the price. I have a hunch this will be ludicrously expensive if/when it hits the showroom. The last time there was a Camaro Z/28, they were only priced $2-3K over the base Camaro. I have a hunch this will be $10K+ over the base Camaro and while it's a tremendously capable car, nobody will buy it at that price. What they need to do is make a 400 HP version as the Z/28 priced $5K higher than a base, 300 HP V6 Camaro and make this the SS model priced at $8-10K higher than the base V6 Camaro.
