A very good friend of my dad's has raced the Baja 1000 several times. He also has one of the nicest private antique auto collections in the country. I am going to check out the cars soon and I will post up picks.

I tried to go down there a couple of years ago but for the uninitiated, it seemed like quite the daunting logistical nightmare to get down there and find the start of the race with only a week's notice prior to the start. I just went to Sebring instead.

Some day I'll make it to Baja though.
