2010 Camaro SS First Official Photo 
The Camaro SS is no big surprise after the first images with almost press quality surfaced over a week ago. However, Ray at Jalopnik.com diligently spotted this single image on GM's media site. There is no official announcement accompanying the photo, but perhaps not necessary since the most pertinent SS details, such as its 422 hp (315 kW) and 408 lb.-ft. of torque (553 Nm) via LS3 6.2-liter V8, were already released during the official Camaro reveal.
However, there is one new design detail confirmed. As far as we can see from the photos, the SS receives a peekaboo mail slot in the hood in addition to SS badges. A bit anti-climatic, but judging by the number of comments we received on the last topic about whether the car is rubbish or not, surely this latest image will fire the furnace once again.
