New targa top Ferrari coming?

A new patent filed shows Ferrari might be considering a return to the targa, which I think would be great. I bet we'd see the application in a lightweight version of the mid-engine V8 platform, so they could give drivers some open-top goodness and but still keep some of the hardcore, fixed roof feel. What do you think? More info here.

I personally like the idea of a targa — just as long as there's actually room to keep it in the car. Ha ha!
