Move over Alonso! Long live the King!!

 

Happy for Kimi, but would have preferred to see him move to Red Bull. On equal footing, I think he could have given Vettel a run for his money. Not sure how things will turn out at Ferrari, maybe next year's regulations will enable them to close the gap to RBR.

 

in terms of performance ferrari isn't that far off from lotus. was really hoping kimi would go to RBR, not sure if kimi would be happy about team telling him to change gearbox if alonso is behind him

Awesome! I just hope Ferrari will be quicker next season and actually give RBR a proper run. I personally think if it was an equal field, Alonso would have beaten Vettel on many occasions.

What Ferrari actually need is a set of competitive engineers, not another fast driver. Not Alonso, not Kimi or anyone else for that matter can help Ferrari win the WCC with the kind of development they have going right now.
