458 ''Scuderia'' ?

So much confusion on what's been said about the Scuderia version. This year, next year etc. and there has even been mention that Ferrari might not even make it - which I seriously doubt that.
There's more out there about the Enzo replacement, with info and the test mule being spotted. It makes sense not to make any hype about a Scud version with the Spider just being released, but there are potential customers out there that are waiting for the stripped down more hardcore version of the 458 and will rather wait than part with their money on an Italia or Spider. So at least give those customers a hint that one is coming out definitely and when. Our local agents don't even know anything about the car, yet they have a list of customers wanting it.
The 430 Scuderia at the moment is dropping in price, but I do believe one day it will appreciate and hold it's value. It's a great Ferrari without a doubt.

Do you think cars like the 430 scud and Enzo will be less able to have the status in 10-20 yrs time that cars like F40 and CGT do now because the gearboxes will look so dated ?
The gearchange is such an integral part of the driving experience but particularly with single clutch automated manuals, what is considered cutting edge at launch does not take long before it looks slow & flawed
Or will we accept them just as we now accept 20 yr old classics with brakes that were considered great at the time but somewhat flawed now ?
