Wholeheartedly agree. It was fully within their power to not allow the event to take place. The Chinese government is a joke, full of murderers and power lust.

So the second half of every 11th year, you get lots of baby making action from people living in all Chinese societies, Singapore, China, Taiwan, HK, Vancouver, etc.

Having your kid be born on the year of the dragon is considered extremely good luck.

 

The cultural revolution has stripped the Chinese of all morality. This is why they have no problem carrying out the order to target practice on live unarmed kids at Tianamen square, from Deng up top down to the soldiers themselves.

If you can read Chinese, there are some revolting stuff that these people do that are available for all to read on Chinese websites and paper. Things like :

a truck driver ran over a child, only breaking her leg, then proceeded to back over and make sure that she was dead. When interviewed, his reasoning was that it was cheaper to pay white envelope money than to pay for medical on a crippled child.

a farmer was busted for using industrial waste water to water his veggies. His response? He only sell the veggies to people in the city who are rich and can afford good doctors.

This is also why they have no problem using lead paint on toys, and poison on pet food. It is every man for himself in the truest sense. When a prople have no moral, all kinds of crazy thing can happen that no amount of regulation will prevent.
