Here's my little Ferrari 308 . . .
#23
Hope you don't mind me asking but what's the price range on a decent 308 these days.. or what/where is a good gauge to find out?
I know that 355's and 512TR's have been jumping in price in the past 12 months or so, curious how older F cars are doing? (is there a trend?)

355s are the current bargain of the Fcar world - you can get a very nice car for under 70K, and a late spider for around 85K. I think they have been going down and will continue to do so until the economy picks up. My reasoning for this is downward pressure from 360s (have been seen as low as 80K) and the typical 355 buyer is seeing some of their disposable income dry up, or they are at least worried about it. Enthusiasts aren't quite there yet to sacrifice for a 355, and the folks that don't care about the economy (because they don't have to
) will be looking for 430s and 360s, not old 355s.I know of a very very nice 97 F1 355 Spider, Red/Tan with 28K on it for $57K. It's just one of many, but this one belongs to a customer of ours. I KNOW what he has put into this car - I sold him the parts

512s, both TRs and BBs have been moving steadily up. I wish I had the foresight to buy a boxer for 80K 2 years ago.... testarossas have not been doing so well, mostly because the 512tr is that much better of a car. Maybe their time is due....

ps I am not opinionated about these matters - much

love it -- one of my all time favorites. good friend of mine is planning on picking one up if he gets the house they are currently looking at -- attached 3 car garage, with a detached 6 car garage & shop!! I know where I'll be spending my weekends!
