Educate me: Ferrari 512 M

I don't know much about the 512M either, but a quick Google search yielded this:
Ferrari Testarossa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The car weighs about 3200 lbs, makes 440 hp from a 4.9L flat-12 and could hit 60 mph from a standstill in 4.8 seconds. There were 500 produced between 1994-1996 at a cost of around $230K.

For the 512M, they changed the rear headlights to the 4 circles, like the later 355 had. They also replaced the pop up headlights with built in headlights.
According to another post from a memeber of this site, 512M stands for:
5 - roughly 5 liters
12 - V12
M - Modificido
It wasn't as mainstream as the original Testarossa. That's what I know. Thanks for adding this post, I would like to hear more about it too!

Ah, one of my favorites...
As AxerJK said, the F stands for Ferrari, the 512 represents five liters/12 cylinders, and the M stood for Modificata, because the car was a modified version of the 512 TR (which was the Testarossa's predecessor).
Worldwide production was limited to just 500 units (a pittance compared to the 7,177 Testarossas that were built, and the 2,280 512 TRs), with just 41 built for RHD markets. The US received 75 F512 Ms.
The engine type (F113G) is an evolution of the 512 TR engine (F113D), which, in turn, evolved from the Testarossa engine (F113A). The engine is a 180-degree 12 cylinder, mounted longitudinally rear amidship, with dual overhead cams, four valves per cylinder, and a displacement of 4,943 cc with 82x78 bore and stroke and 10.4:1 compression.
Horsepower peaks at 432 at 6,750 RPM, with 367 ft. lb of torque at 5,500 RPM; the car has 87.4 horsepower per liter.
The F512 M is 176.4 inches long, 77.8 inches wide and the roof is just 44.7 inches from the ground. The wheelbase is 100.4 inches with a front track of 60.3 inches and a rear track of 64.7 inches. The car's dry weight is 3,208 pounds.
F512 M production started in 1994 and ended in 1996. The body was designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti.
Pininfarina converted six F512 Ms for the Sultain of Brunei. These conversions were dubbed the FX, and were equipped with F1 transmissions.
