Thumbs up Shirley Garage: INCREDIBLE. (Ferrari and other cars of Microsft ex-president)

Awesome collection LABrit sent me to view, had to share it with you all...

"Jon Shirley is the ex-president of Microsoft and this is his private garage. Not only did he let the local Ferrari Club of America come in and gawk he personally led a walking tour of the garage. He knew every nut and bolt of every restoration. It is so awsome to see this type of enthusiasm and involvement from someone that is obviously in a position to have someone else sweat all the details without involving him. He is also active in vintage racing and is an active philanthropist that is involved with a number of fund raisers for Children's Hospital and other local charities."

amazing pics I'm glad to see that such a collection is in the hands of a true enthusiast plus the fact that he's a philanthropist makes you happy for him

Unreal. Props to him for knowing his stuff-- kind of like Jay Leno knows his cars. Btw, I invented windows and bill gates stole it from me.

Man, that is such an awe-inspiring collection! I'm glad to see the owner is an enthusiast and willing to share his collection with others. He has fantastic taste in cars.

512bbi, 300 SL and 300SL gullwing that is automotive heaven. I love how he decorated the die cast models and accessories in the room.
