Yeah, it was incredibly impressive. That 250GT racer produced some sounds that put me in a euphoric state. It was unbelievable.
And I didn't see that SEC when I was there, but holy crap that thing is HOT. I love those old coupes.

Good eye, Ronnie! You're correct, I actually shot the entire event with the nifty fifty on my D700 and if I'm not mistaken, Scott was using the same lens on his D200.

Ah. I was wondering if that was a 35 f/2 or a 50.
I was actually using a combo of my Sigma 10-20, Nikon 18-105VR (that I just picked up), and my amazing beast of a Nikon 80-200 f/2.8. I have a 50 1.8 in my bag, and a 50 1.4 at home, but I just find the FOV a little tight on a crop sensor.
