First of all we would love to thank everyone who participated, showed up, and help spread the word in our previous event. Without your help we wouldn't have made it possible to come back with another event.

We are very excited to announce the second event for the 2011-2012 season which will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit on January 13th 2012. the event will kick off at 2pm.

What is Slide ‘N Glide?
Slide ‘N Glide is an effort to build a professional drifting community in the Middle East by practicing the drifting in a safe environment to allow for this motor sport to gain popularity and enhance the image of this sport in the region.

What are we looking to achieve from Slide ‘N Glide?

• start a drifting community in the region and help improve the talented drivers that are interested in this type of motor sports by practicing their hobby in a safe environment.
• To give back to society
• To have FUN!

Who are we supporting this time?
Slide ‘N Glide will be donating and raising money for Think Pink Bahrain Breast Cancer Charity for our second drift event.
Think Pink Bahrain is a non-profit organization that was founded by Ms. Julie Sprakel in 2004. Over the years, the money raised has been directed to the National Campaign For The Early Detection Of Breast Disease, which screens Bahraini women over the age of 40. Think Pink Bahrain is dedicated to increasing breast cancer awareness issue, especially early detection, thereby saving lives.

What are we doing on the day of the event?

• Registration + Applying the stickers
• Briefing + Drifting tips
• Warm up practice (most of the day)
• Coffee break & Last minute service before the competition.
• Competition
• Awarding the winner and handing out donation to Think Pink Bahrain.

Individual Donations:
As an effort to raise as much as we can for Think Pink Bahrain Breast Cancer Charity, Slide ‘N Glide have decided to accept donations from Individuals (only) that will fully be given to the Charity.
