Hey guys, someone I know just got cited for a DUI.

Minor details, first offense, she's young, 21, .08BAC, coasted through a stop sign.

Shouldn't be too hard to get her probation right?

Can anyone recommend a good attorney who has connections inside the courtroom to clean this one up?

Is this speaking from first hand experience in FFX county or just a general comment?

I've had several acquaintances, first time offense, on DUI's walk away with probation and suspended judgments, 6 to be exact, with a well connected attorney.

Hell, I walked out of a courtroom after being given an alleged 95/55 reckless, with a failure to see highway sign $30 ticket with a well-connected attorney. Money talks in this county man. (the ticket was suspect in this case, I admit, the reason he didn't try to throw me in jail was because he had no verifiable readout. I was going 70 max. But leaving a track is prime season to give out arbitrary tickets around here)

 

Well it looks like you have 6 good leads on an attorney.

 

Funny you mention it, 6 all moved on to practice in Loudoun County. Must be more demand out there. LOL

 

Then ask them if they still practice in Fairfax, or ask them who they can recommend. I used a guy for a reckless charge, but not sure he's got the pull for something like your situation.

FFX County is no place to joke around with a DUI (ask the Alexandria Police Chief and most recently the FAA Administrator.) She definitely needs an attorney.
