Can anyone tell me what a reasonable labor rate is for installing aftermarket parts, or does it vary based on the reputation of the shop?

I am having an exhaust installed and was told $99 per hour of work. Is that normal? I am honestly kind of clueless, so I just thought I'd ask. I'm not looking for anyone to list prices, etc, just some idea as to whether this is high, low, or normal.

that is right in the middle, dealers are usually the highest for labor rates

 

I have seen - and paid for - as much as $125 an hour for the shops with the best rep.
