Face-lifted McLaren 12C Hits The Ring Face-lifted McLaren 12C Hits The Ring
Our trusty Teamspeed spies stationed at the famous Nürburgring, managed to snap a few pics of the face-lifted 2014 McLaren 12C putting in a few hot-laps.
As we reported last week, the very subtle model update will feature a modified front bumper, updated headlights, and a slightly updated interior. These updates will apply to both the coupe and spider.
Rumor has it another power boost is coming for the refreshed 12C, and we are guessing the 2014′s will crank out anywhere from 640-650 British ponies.
Look out for the official public debut this September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

With the kind of production numbers McLaren is trying to meet to recoupe their initial investment, the MP4 is going to continue to depreciate like crazy...I regret ever buying new.

This week we ran spy images of what we believed to be the upcoming face-lifted 12C, which we do know is in fact coming our way, but the images snapped by our spies was actually something else indeed. Yes folks, something very exciting is on its way.
According to McLaren, the car we see here is not the 12c face-lift as we originally thought, it is an early test mule for the company’s Porsche 911 fighter, the entry-level P13. A spokesman for the company told the british magazine Auto Express, that the 12C-looking mule was running with some of the P13’s mechanicals.
Tada, mystery solved!

Yes, that's a P13 CP (Concept Prototype). The car might be unveiled as a 'concept' at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year. It should be priced between the 991 Carrera 4S and the GT3.
Regarding the 12C face-lift, I heard that it will arrive some time in 2015.
