Hear The McLaren P1 Roar During Testing

One the most anticipated events to the super car stage over the past decade is, without a doubt, the return of McLaren with its successor to the F1, and this video filmed by youtube-er TestdrivenUK, makes you realize within moments the wait was well worth it.

Only 375 examples are slated to be produced of the £866,000 supercar, which will jolt to 300 km/h in less than 17 seconds, 23 percent plus faster than the legendary McLaren F1, and tops out at an electronically limited to 350 km/h.

Do we know if this video was taken recently? If so, why do they keep the camo on the car if they've already revealed what the production car will look like?

 

It was taken after the Paris Motor Show but definitely a few months before Geneva.

 

Not 100% sure, but I've read somewhere that it was filmed in Spain at Parcmotor Castelloli.
