haha 6:33 really?
Shieet Zonda R did a 6:47
I guess that's all that needs to be said in terms of reference points.
To think that someone really thought it was real is mind bending.
Its a road car after all, its not a hovering space craft with afterburners

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions so early.....

Man you think so short..... There's alot of cars besides the Zonda. Road and track only ones.... Reflect on that and see more than 2 meters away......

^god man really 6:33 It has nothing to do with the Zonda.
The R was just a reference point as its a crazy track only monster.
And it weights about 500kg less than the P1.
Hell 6:33 is RACING car time..
use some common sense please.

Well, mclaren does not put slick tires on road cars contrary to other brands.... Thats common sense right there.... Then its common sense that the p1 will have a ton of grip due the high load of downforce, much more than any other car, zonda r included, and it has about 160hp more than the zonda, more torque, etc, etc.... If you put that against the 500kgs dif, i bet the final lap time wont be very far off. But then again we are talking road going tires here....

OK
I give up..
Mclaren says they are hoping for a sub 7 time in the statement.
But our friend the rockstar has his hopes up for Zonda R beating time.
Do not be upset if your disappointed.
The image in question was included on a slide which was part of a mood board to inspire the design team for the McLaren P1™, and not the engineers, who are working to a target time of ‘merely’ sub-7 minutes

If the p1 is pointing to a mere sub 7 at the ring why is the 918 claiming the same when we can see that its more slower? The p1 will do more than just a mere sub 7.... If the Porsche does 7. And lets not forget others..... I bet the p1 time wont be far of the zonda. But then pagani will do another better lap in the zonda. If they use the huayra.... They will choose the easy way... Oh and by the way, for you its Mr. exRockstar, because i dont know you from anywhere...
