Captain Slow's Car of the Year is Way Fast

James May's nickname might be Captain Slow, but for his 2012 Car of the Year, the Top Gear presenter picked the decidedly quick McLaren 12C Spider. Given the show's love of all things English, it's hardly a total surprise, but given the positive press the ferocious droptop has gotten for its handling and rigidity, it's not undeserved either. There's some sweet footage of the honoree tackling some twisties, but the best past of the video is probably May poking fun at the car's name. Which isn't undeserved either. Enjoy.
