It's not easy being Green
Verde Ithaca McLaren MP4-12C

Yesterday I attended the C&C at Naples Motorsports and saw this rather interesting looking MP4-12C. Verde Ithaca is a color normally reserved for the fighting bulls of Lamborghini, but like other manufactures, special opps programs will get you anything you want, for a price.

The days host Naples Motorsports, is the creation of Todd Rosenthal from his childhood passion for sports cars. Ten years in the business, they now call home this state-of-the-art 15,000 sq. ft. facility, which plays hosts to cars and coffees like the one I attended.

like the color but dislike the paint-match front lip. would look much better with the carbon lip.

 

That's the one McLaren of Tampa did. Fantastic looking car! The only thing I would change are the green bits around the dash. Other than that it looks great!

I love that. Being a big McLaren fan, and loving verde ithaca, it looks awesome. Do agree though that a carbon lip would set it off a lot better. Also green in stitching is cool, but painted gauge pod etc might be a bit borderline cheesy.

 

Agreed, they need to break it up a bit with some more carbon....the front lip in bare carbon would be amazing!

Gosh that looks great. I was never a fan of Verde Ithaca (especially on Lamborghinis) but this is amazing.

No problem, Jon. Nothing special this time, just felt like taking some shots for TS.

After finally seeing both the 458 and MP4 next to each other and hearing an opinion from a salesperson that has driven both. I can't imagine picking the MP4 over the 458. To me even in person the MP4 looks a bit bland compared to the 458 and hearing it lacks the sound the 458 has is a bit of a disappointment as well.

Maybe its also partially that the green isn't my favorite
