I know theres a bit of a weight difference with the verts and maybe a handling difference but unless you're going to run it on the track for money, Im pretty sure the loss of 2/10s of a second will never been felt.
Im not knocking anybodies preference, but if I have the choice Id rather be able to choose between having the top up or down......

of course it is decreasing the higher the cat category is but you still can feel it...thus the cabby hat probably
but the 16M still is my fav..

Same here!! Everyone either gets too technical about it saying loss of rigidity, too much added weight, etc. I personally am a huge fan of the open experience and personally think that if you are not going to be driving the car to it's near limits that often (which many of the customers will use it as a weekend cruiser and such), it would be really nice to be able to enjoy the wind in your hair and open air fun. As for the looks of the coupe vs the hardtop I truly think that they are really stepping up the design language of the convertibles and they are turning out immaculate to me. As much hate as the new 458 cab gets i think it looks fantastic and is very functional as well.
