Mansory to show modified 12C at Geneva
With just days to go to the Geneva Motor Show, Mansory has released the first images and details of their tuning package for the McLaren MP4-12C which will be unveiled at the event.
The centerpiece of their upgrade revolves around the 3.8-litre twin turbo engine and its thirst for more power. Mansory has installed their high-performance exhaust system, a new engine-management system and a sports air filter that increases airflow.
It results in a power boost that brings total power output to 670 PS ( 493 kW / 660 hp ) and 675 Nm (498 lb-ft) of torque as well as an increased top speed of 353 kph (219mph). We are also told the acceleration and stopping distance figures have also been improved, but specific numbers are yet to be released.
The exterior receives a body kit by Mansory that widens the dimension of the vehicle by 60mm, it includes replacement parts for the roof, the front and rear aprons, the mirror housings and the fenders. The kit is completed with a set of 20 inch wheels.
Mansory has also worked on the interior, although we are yet to be treated to photos showcasing this aspect. We are told it includes a new airbag sports steering wheel, aluminum pedals and real carbon-fiber elements.
Look for further photos and specifications when the model in released on March 6th.

I am also surprised I like it this well. BUT, PAINT THE GOD FORSAKEN CARBON BITS! Six years ago that was cool on crap tuner cars. I know it is carbon, you know it is carbon, we agree it is carbon. Now paint it! Want contrast? Go w/ a satin black.
