hope they keep the "scissor" doors on the vert.

 

The design has alot of potential, definitely looking forward to this one. Maybe it will be unveiled at Geneva? Pebble Beach?

I still think we will see P12 - the McLaren F1 successor - first. I was told that July at the Goodwood Festival would be too early for that one so I think it is the one they will show at Pebble on the concept lawn. Just a hunch - nothing confirmed yet.

They can't cannibalize sales of the 12C coupes too early so I think we're a ways off on seeing the convertible version.

I wager that the spy picture is more likely to be the P12 F1 than a vert. Notice the odd wheel paring and the revised rear section. Looks like they are testing a different drivetrain.

Its a real deal, launch this fall or even could be earlier. Unfortunately no details about the roof construction, kept well as a secret by Mac.

All other specs will be the same with coupe.

New F1 is in the works also, and yes, some sort of concept first could be the truth, more infos coming after Geneva.

 

Damn...If that is what the Convertible looks like then sign me up!!

I think the MP4 and the F458 are the first convertibles that I have ever found attractive.

 

Can't wait! Render is amazing!

 

First thought that comes to mind: looks better than the coupe.
