Well first of all, congrats!! And second of all, i haven't gone through the rest of the thread but if I were you, I'd wait a year or so after driving around, the Mclaren is a fast machine, and a really fast machine for a beginner. Well best of luck, and do post and let us know you decision please

17 yo and first car is 600hp Macca. Wow!
As stated previously, this is a recipe for disaster. Unless you have been seriously racing since you were 6, this will end in tears.
I am an instructor and every single 17 yo that comes out to the track believes they are the next Vettel. But as soon as they take the TC off and are facing the wrong way at the first corner, most put their ego aside.
I understand the passion for supercars and going fast, but you really need to start at the bottom and build up your skills. You will enjoy the car and your driving if you start slow and build up.
