Good job McLaren!
The exhausts aren't in an unusual place, if you look at pretty much all proper race cars you will find them in the same position. Think Ferrari FXX, which had exhausts where you'd expect the headlights to be

/pedantic rant over.

Such a genius car, saw one at the Brussels motor show. Looks even better in real life and getting 600hp out of a 3.8 block really is incredible. Hats off to the McLaren MP4-12C, one of my favourite cars of all time.

I realise that Wout, but my point is that this is a road car, and theren't too many with the exhausts like this in the world of traffic lights and speed cops.

Dont forget, this is McLaren - the company that has made only two road cars. Much of the MP4s aerodynamics are a result of the racing experience that they have.

I am aware of that.

The point is, this is a road car with some unusual features, not so rare in the racing world, but rare in the road world. If we put an F1 style front-spoiler on a road going car, I would say it was unusual. Would you not?

If you cross the street from Harrods you will find it not far from Starbucks/Burberry.

And yes, I know this isn't a front spoiler.

f458 vs mp4 12c

Ouch.. Just watched fifth gear and did not expect that.. The mclaren took a beating.Tiff took the Fezza and ripped up the track the mp4 did not want to play. Jason then put them against each other had absolutely no confidence in the mp4 which I thought would definitely not be the case result 458 faster.Mclaren now licking its wounds.

I just watched Fifth Gear too. I met Tiff yesterday at Salon Prive' and he did mention that Ron may not be happy with their assessment of the 12C. I think he might be right write as the 12C got spanked on the show tonight.
