They may eclipse the Veyron, but they are only holding a candle to the Sun that is the F1.

He means the safety measures may be appropriate due to a propencity for clients to, all-too-often, bite off more than they can chew.

FerrariWF is an unknown quantity at this point
Koenigsegg can crank out 1115bhp out of a 5 liter V8 I'm sure McLaren will do more. It's going to have to have 1,000bhp+ and under 1150kg IMO. It will look beautiful and kill everything to date, even the F1. I think the SSC aero II will be the toughest car for them to top. But it's McLaren, and I have total faith they will deliver.

According to autoblog it should put out 799 HP. However, they also suggest that that figure is simply rumour. I wonder what would happen if you strapped twin turbos to the Mclaren F1?

Are some of you guys serious? How can anyone think that that ancient render is a depiction of the actual car? Jesus christ.

Right now according to one of my sources - the engine could be turbo charged + super charged which should yield better efficiency than any of the other supercars.

Again that is just a rumour but Ricardo are working on this technology and they shall be creating the engine in partnership with Mclaren.
