Can't drive this one, it's here for homologation purposes. I did manage to fire it up and it sounds great. Quite loud for a turbocharged car to my surprise. Blipped a the throtle a bit and it still sounds good. The demo will be here in a few weeks. I'll be back for a test drive then

Hi Jon, I stated in another thread that I put mine on hold. I am thinking about waiting until some form of GTR etc. version comes out.

Haha, for sure. The white suits the car well with the dark exterior trim option.

Mclaren dealership is right at the bot floor of my building, since i had nothing better to do i went to check it out. The car has no software yet since the factory has not sent the update yet so i cant say much abou the navi and sound. The interior is nice and spacious and feels very comfy. Will test drive it in a week or so when i am back from vacation. I am reasonably excited about this car but so far what really git me excited is the f1 sucsessor which the dealer expects in 2.5 years time at around carrera gt pricing! That is 500-800 range!!!!! Really looking forward to that one!

 

I'm guessing it will cost triple that. 1.5-2.5 Million. It will be the successor to a top 5 car ever built and be the flagship for a brand trying to make a name for itself. I'm expecting something SSC Tuatara performance like for a bit more money.

Hi all, popped into the new dealership in Birmingham UK a few weeks back to check out the showroom and the cars. They have 2 cars one for the showroom and a demo car Dave Tibbetts sales director wanted to have 2 extreme variations with the 2 cars.

The Demo was specced to be in hardcore and outlandish White with lightweight alloys,carbon engine bay, and £4000 Inconel sports exhaust. Interior a mix of carbon and red alcantara which i think looks ace.

The showroom car was to be more classy a nice gunmetal grey standard alloys, and 2 tone leather interior.
