McLaren MP4-12C Picture thread
#1913
Went to see the 12C HS at McLaren Beverly Hills on Saturday afternoon.
I really liked the changes on the car - the front bumper is the best that I have seen on the 12C, and I liked the little canards it wears, but it would still be okay without them. This particular car also has some added carbon scoops on the side intakes that I could probably live without. The rear wing has a slightly more aggressive lip at the rear which is something I had not noticed before on these cars. Also the paint on this one, while appearing to be the traditional McLaren Orange actually has a subtle metallic flake in it that really sparkles in the light. Overall a great package I thought.
Before anyone gets too excited and starts ringing their telephone off the hook, this car is not for sale. It is just there visiting as the owner takes it all around the world with him. If you are in the area and want to see it in person you should probably act fast as they expect it to leave soon.
I took a gallery of shots which you can see here on Flickr and tried to capture some of the unique details from different angles. Click the photo below to see the rest:
They also had a silver 12C Spider that was the perfect spec in my opinion. There are pics of that and a few other things mixed in the album.
