I just love this car, you must watch the 1hour video onf the presentation conference to see how much technology goes in this car...
pic of the CC brakes, never saw them before, they are 6pistons vs 4 pistons for the steel.

Visit the McLaren Automotive website and register your interest by clicking the first link below the photos. There is a place to leave a telephone number and a way to signal your intent to purchase so they will contact you directly. It's not likely they will start to take deposits until they have their dealer network a bit more solidified around the world.

The front crash structure looks just the same as what is on the SLR Stirling Moss - when I went to pick up my book from the tech centre and got a walk round, my host and I went into the SLR SM production line - the first few customer cars were there in various forms of completion and one of them there was in the same state of undress as the pic hosted by jiaim. IIRC both my host and I lifted the rear of one of the cars at the start of the production line with just our hands - superlight!

They showed a map of the world with bullseyes on the major markets they are targeting - 7 in the USA at the outset. It's probably wise to start out at a minimum level like that until they have worked out all the kinks with it. I honestly think establishing the retail presence and ensuring the distribution of cars and parts is working as they intend is a much bigger hurdle for McLaren then actually developing the car. Its success as a seemless extension of the company is absolutely vital and from their comments they seem to be very focused on the customer experience.
Here's an image of the map along with a pair showing the dealer mockup they shared during the presentation.
