Yes, this observation needs more attention... WTF.

 

Gordon's a genius, but also a bit of a quack. Nothing but a "pure" car will ever appeal to him, and I'd bet even his new city car will eventually have to bend to one or two market demands. Then he'll cry about that.

Not that he's WRONG, of course, just that he's in the wrong business and/or read "the Fountainhead" too many times.

 

Do they not make enough from servicing the F1s out there? I am sure they have arms and legs laying around

 

Gordon Murray also hated the Veyron untill he drove it, then he completely changed his mind.

 

I agree that Murray can not have detached view on any great supercar launched or to be launched which can put into a shade his baby, I mean F1. There were only one car he was very positive about - Zonda F, I remember EVO article when Murray met Horasio Pagani. Veyron is one of the greatest cars ever, just it is made in different way from F1 or Zonda, so the Murray do not wanted to accept its greatness.

I guess we need to wait until the official launch of the P11, we need to see first test drives and comparison test with 458 Italia and LP550-2.
