Thanks Erik! I thought that was the case. So Topgear just calls up Mr Bean if they need an F1
So they had to fly the car out just for that episode (as I assume it still belongs to Rowan)?
Is it also true this is his 2nd F1? I heard somewhere a while back, he had an accident with the first one and then bought a second one as a result?

The Veyron was not at it's best that day the heat and the multiple runs they've done with the car.. I heard from a bugatti service tech that Veyron were using 800 hp only at the launch and when the car got more air when driving to the engine it was back on it's normal pace...

The car is definitely still his and it is his first F1. He did have an accident in it back in October 1999 where on a slightly rain slicked road he slid into the back of an Austin Metro. The damage looked severe as the F1's nose ended up underneath the other car, but was mostly superficial. Costs to repair the car were quoted at £100,000. Here it is on 'not his best day'.

They didn't use the Veyron's Launch control.

You can't even tell that it had that slip up in it's current state now!
