I just came. I seriously can't help but giggle like a little school girl every time I see these cars!

 

I still have yet to see one in person, hopefully someday soon.

 

friend of mine claims to hav been to a smal meet in boston, where he saw not 1 but 3 mclarens!! Owned By The Same Guy!!! i dnt know if this info is accurate, all i know is a meet with 3 big macs cant be caled smal

has any1 heard of such a guy at Mass

 

My only guess is Herb Chambers, I heard he owned one.

 

You're talking about Frank Selldorff, but his three F1s were never together anywhere to my knowledge. He currently owns chassis #007, and for a few years he also owned LM3 and chassis #068. The first two might have been seen together at Turner Motorsports and also appeared together at the British Car Day in June 2004.

Coincidentally, chassis #068 is actually the silver F1 pictured just a few posts up, but it's on it's second owner since Frank had it and even more coincidental, the car's new owner is also from Massachusetts. When Frank owned the car I don't believe that he ever displayed #068 anywhere, in fact I don't think it ever left BMW's service center in New Jersey even once it was federalized.

Frank's LM is in the collection of Ralph Lauren now.
