My MC-Stradale after 1.6k miles - Impressions

It goes without saying that 99% of my driving in the MC is fast on the limit of my abilities driving, so NO dinners, nor trips to the store with this thing.

for years i only have 500 to 600+hp ferraris, so on the limit driving in a 450hp maser is pretty simple really, all my throttle inputs are kick down on and off switch like. Theres no need to gradually or worry about linear power delivery, just pedal to the floor will be fine because the car is so slow. From the second i leave the garage and back, the throttle is always pinned to the floor.

If i done that in my fcars, i be in a tree. 450hp is really just adequate or too slow in a 1770kilo car. Its advertised as being light weight but it still weighs the same as my 599 and 612 with 100 to 200 less horses, so no, it doesn't feel powerful at all.

Passing takes caution too because u cant stick ur head out and just pass, u need to calculate ur moves and distance. U need to make sure u can pass or have room to come back in line after the pass, no need to do any of that in my ferraris.

OK, after we got slow out of the way, this is a fantastic car, it rides very nice and handles even better than my 612 mainly because its harder sprung. It never gets squishy or feel floaty.

it has too good a suspension for its low power output.

interior finish is nice and love the buckets with the pretentious 4pt belts. Overall nothing to complain other than i wish it has another 50hp and more torque. Peak power only comes on after 6.5k and ends at 7.5k so its extremely not usable unless u have it on full boil, but then its a short burst and it forces u to go up a gear where it becomes slow.

most of the owners will never do what i do, but it is an extremely nice daily that u can go have a little fun in, and it really handles surprisingly well for what it is. with another 50hp, i dont think a 458 can keep up with me too easily. But then again, it would be badged a ferrari, so.....

starting a thread and bashing on your own car...wow..

well, then an M3 or RS4 gotta be slow like shit!

But I agree...just as with the Astons,a lil more power would not hurt
but then again, those class of cars are more of the Gentlemens kind of car and are not solely meant to be driven fast all the time

Oh and it gets good gas mileage, like 25% better than a 458 and that's with full throttle all the time and no where near half throttle half the time on fcars.

And always drive in race mode with traction control off.
Besides being less powerful than ferraris, it's a great car.

Your car color wise is one of the nicest I have seen, I drove that car a few times as a friend had one. 1- sounds amazing 2- cramped inside 3- SLOW.
Per handling of course it is better then your 612 the 612 is a huge fron engine V12 GT coupe NOT a sports car, this car is smaller weighs less and
for sure more nimble.

Not bashing at all, I love it! Seriously I love it!
U never drove a slow car fast and really had fun in it?! That's how it feels.

If the DBS had 50 more hp I get one too. It's so nice.

Not as much as a rip off as my 458 was. No where near as much anyways. But both are awesome to drive!
