design is not right, name is not right, guess everything here is not right to begin with. just really wondering on how can Maserati design a very gorgeous drop dead Gran Turismo and now blasphemy themselves with this? just not making sense at all.

 

 

How can a company that produced one of the best looking sedans and one of the most gorgeous coupes actually come out with this????

^ Because of massive openings in developing markets in countries with piss-poor roads and/or a strong desire for status symbols.
Design-wise, I think we're forced to conclude that Maserati's staff has gone collectively blind, are all on drugs and have a sick, sick sense of humour. That, or they just looked at Fiat's ongoing bastardification of Lancia and decided to go with the program.
