Alfa 8C birthday bash at the Hurlingham
We were invited to the exclusive Alfa Romeo 8C dinner bash. No...not the current 8C, but the original model first launched in 1931.
Eleven of these priceless automobiles were on display surrounded by guests enjoying a lavish meal and hosted by Alain de Cadenet. Whilst one does not talk about value, it was whispered that some of these were worth between $1.5m and $5m plus making this the most expensively furnished dinner in history.
Renowned Alfa Romeo Historian and Author, Simon Moore, guides us around each of the cars on display.
